Job summary

STR is seeking a Mission Engineer (Full Stack) to lead software teams delivering mission-critical applications in high-security DoD/IC environments. You will design, develop, and deploy full-stack systems, integrating APIs and ensuring performance under load.

Requirements include a BS in CS or related field, 7+ years of experience, and an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI eligibility. Strong communication and design focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and deploying software in high-security environments.
• Strong knowledge of modern frontend and backend frameworks.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build prototypes by breaking down use cases and MVPs.
• Develop high-performance, responsive frontend features.
• Lead cross-functional teams to design and deploy cohesive systems.
• Collaborate with end-users, especially military or government operators.
• Travel to integration sites to deploy, test, and triage software; travel about one week per month.
