Job summary

RTX's ISMA center in Tucson seeks a Principal Simulation Analysis Engineer to join the Airborne Kill Chain AI/ML team. You will develop high-fidelity missile simulations and decision-support software for warfighters, working onsite in Tucson.

The role requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of experience, with MATLAB/Python and C/C++/Java proficiency, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (SECRET/TOP SECRET). A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB or Python.
• Experience in at least two of: Systems engineering life cycle; Software development and/or OOD using C/C++ and/or Java; AI/ML and/or surrogate modeling; HPC.

Responsibilities

• Support/lead design, development, and/or utilization of high-fidelity digital simulation software.
• Lead trade studies to assess system performance against threats and kill chain scenarios.
• Apply performance engineering practices to evaluate computational problems and guide improvements.
• Collaborate to develop analytic approaches that inform program decisions.
• Develop, implement, validate, and test model-based solutions for real-time combat decision aids.
