RTX is recruiting a Principal Simulation Analysis Engineer for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. You will lead the design and use of high fidelity simulation software, perform trade studies on weapon performance, and contribute to model-based decision aids for real-time combat applications.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB or Python.
• Experience in at least two of: Systems engineering life cycle; Software development and/or OO design in C/C++/Java; AI/ML or Surrogate Modeling on HPC.

Responsibilities

• Support/lead the design, development, and/or utilization of high fidelity digital simulation software in advanced technical computing environments.
• Support/lead trade studies to assess system performance of weapons across kill chain scenarios.
• Apply performance engineering practices to evaluate multiple computational problems and identify system improvements.
• Collaborate with team members to develop analytic approaches guiding program decisions.
• Develop, implement, validate and test model-based solutions for real-time combat decision aids and related software.
