Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Simulation Analysis Engineer for an on-site role in Tucson, AZ. You will join a high-performing team analyzing missile simulations to build decision-support systems used by the warfighter.

The role requires a STEM degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in MATLAB/Python with C/C++/Java. Occasional travel (<10%) is expected and a U.S.-based employment arrangement applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with at least five years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB or Python.
• Experience in two of: Systems engineering lifecycle, C/C++ or Java, AI/ML, HPC.
• Active Top Secret DoD clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and use high-fidelity digital simulation software.
• Contribute to trade studies to assess system performance across kill chain scenarios.
• Apply performance engineering practices to evaluate improvements and countermeasures.
• Collaborate with team, integrate input from customers and experts.
• Develop and implement model-based decision support systems and validate models.
• Travel occasionally (<10%) to support the customer/program.
