Job summary

Mission Driven Research in Huntsville, AL seeks an experienced Senior Performance Analysis Engineer to join our team. You will analyze Ground-based Missile Defense (GMD) systems, evaluate engagement performance, and communicate findings to government stakeholders.

Strong MATLAB and Python skills, plus C++ tooling, are required. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in STEM, experience with MDA GMD programs, and the ability to translate complex simulations into actionable recommendations while

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM with 7+ years of relevant experience.
Experience supporting MDA GMD programs is required.
Proficiency in MATLAB with model development and data analysis.
Proficiency in Python with scientific computing libraries.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain MATLAB, Python, and C++ analysis tools for modeling, simulation, and performance assessments of GBI and NGI.
Develop and analyze modeling and simulation environments to evaluate interceptor performance across scenarios.
Perform quick-response analysis for IDT time-sensitive assessments.
Conduct interceptor performance analyses and translate results into actionable recommendations.
Communicate methodologies, assumptions, results, and conclusions to engineers, leadership, and government stakeholders.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address analysis needs for future missile defense capabilities.
