Job summary

Mission Driven Research, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior Performance Analysis Engineer to support Ground-based Missile Defense (GMD) systems.

You will perform mission and system performance analyses, evaluate engagement scenarios, and communicate findings to engineering teams, leadership, and government stakeholders. Requires 7+ years in STEM, active SECRET or above, and proficiency in MATLAB and Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib).

Qualifications

• Active security clearance (SECRET or above) required.
• Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 7+ years relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting MDA GMD Programs.
• Proficiency in MATLAB and Python with scientific computing libraries.
• Experience evaluating missile defense engagement performance and system capability.
• Strong statistical, numerical, optimization, and simulation analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MATLAB, Python, and C++ analysis tools for high-fidelity modeling and performance assessments.
• Create and analyze M&S environments to evaluate interceptor performance across scenarios.
• Perform quick-response analyses for time-sensitive technical assessments.
• Assess system capabilities, identify performance trends, and support engineering decisions.
• Contribute to future interceptor analysis capabilities, models, and tools.
• Interpret simulation results and communicate conclusions to leadership and customers.
• Deliver technical briefings on methodologies, assumptions, results, and conclusions.
