Job summary

Ignite Now in Huntsville, AL seeks an experienced Performance Analyst Engineer to support analysis of Ground-based Missile Defense (GMD) systems for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). You will develop analytical tools in MATLAB and Python, interpret results, and communicate findings to engineering teams and leadership.

Requirements include a Master’s Degree in STEM, 12+ years of relevant experience, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in STEM with 12+ years relevant experience.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Advanced proficiency in MATLAB, including model development and visualization.
• Proficiency with Python, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib.
• Experience evaluating missile defense engagement performance and system effectiveness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with government customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance analyses of GMD system capabilities using modeling and simulation.
• Develop analytical methodologies to evaluate system effectiveness and engagement outcomes.
• Design, develop, and maintain analytical tools in MATLAB and Python.
• Conduct statistical analyses, Monte Carlo simulations, and trade-space assessments.
• Analyze large datasets from missile defense simulations to find trends and improvements.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and data visualizations for leadership.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, MM&S teams, software developers, and SMEs.
• Support design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and customer briefings.
• Maintain analytical documentation and consistent methodologies.
