Job summary
Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead cost estimating for mining and mineral processing projects worldwide, from concept through FS milestones.
You will supervise multi-discipline teams and coordinate schedules, working with estimating, schedulers, and construction engineers. The role emphasizes experience with PEA, PFS, FS, and portfolio-level estimates, with travel to site locations and strong collaboration with clients to ensure defensible, high-quality
Qualifications
- Experience leading large mining cost estimates from PEA to FS.
- Ability to coordinate multi-discipline estimating teams.
- Experience with mining, mineral processing, and site infrastructure estimates.
- Travel readiness for domestic and some international assignments.
Responsibilities
- Supervise development of multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules.
- Lead mining studies and program-level estimating efforts.
- Coordinate estimates for mining, process plant, civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical.
- Support vendor pricing and quotations integration.
- Prepare estimate execution plans and labor-work plans.
- Interface with clients and manage communications.
