Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator to develop, manage, and coordinate mining and mineral processing projects worldwide, with估timelines from $1 million to $10+ billion. Lead teams of discipline estimators and coordinate multi-discipline estimates across design milestones.

The role requires experience leading PEA, PFS, FS, and execution-stage estimates, with strong collaboration with mining teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Operations Management, Business Management, or related field; Mining Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules.
Lead mining studies and program-level estimating (PEA, PFS, FS, execution, sustaining capital).
Develop estimates for mining, process plant, civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and other scopes.
Coordinate inputs from estimating disciplines and manage risk opportunities.
Prepare basis of estimate reports and labor-force work plans.
Provide support for procurement, change, and claims valuation.
Interface with clients and manage estimate defensibility.
