Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator to develop, manage, and coordinate capital cost estimates for mining and mineral processing projects worldwide, ranging from $1 million to $10+ billion. You will lead multi-discipline teams and drive estimate quality across study and design phases.

This role supports PEA, PFS, FS and execution-stage work, requires experience with mining infrastructure and process plants, and offers flexibility to work from home or an office with travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of combined estimating and construction experience.
• Experience with mining projects and multi-discipline estimation coordination.

Responsibilities

• Supervise development of multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules.
• Lead mining studies and program-level estimating efforts (PEA, PFS, FS, execution).
• Coordinate inputs from civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and other disciplines.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to defend estimates.
