Job summary

GHD's US West Mining Team is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex mining projects across the full mining lifecycle. This role will manage multidisciplinary teams supporting mine permitting, infrastructure development, reclamation, closure, and post-closure projects for mining clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline required
Minimum 10+ years of consulting experience for mining clients
Minimum 5+ years' experience managing environmental, infrastructure, reclamation and/or closure projects, preferably for the mining industry
Experience managing project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and contractual requirements.
Proven ability to lead client engagements and maintain strong relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel as required to client sites and project locations.
A self-starter with sound judgment and decisiveness; professional registration a plus
