Job summary

GHD in the U.S. West Mining Team seeks a Project Manager to deliver legacy mine reclamation and remediation projects across the West region. The role focuses on planning, execution, and delivery of environmental solutions that benefit communities, water, energy, and ecosystems.

The position offers a hybrid work model with on-site collaboration three days a week and flexible work. Candidates should have 5+ years of environmental project management experience and a track record in coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geological, Geotechnical, Environmental, or Mining Engineering.
• 5+ years of environmental remediation experience.
• PM experience with scope, budgets, resources, and risks.
• Ability to travel to client meetings.
• Experience with project management systems (BST/Deltek/MS Project/Primavera).

Responsibilities

• Initiate and plan projects with WBS, schedule, risk planning.
• Manage execution: track progress, changes, and records.
• Coordinate communications and client reporting cadence.
• Manage vendors and subcontractors; verify outputs.
• Support data collection and dashboards; prepare deliverables.
• Escalate risks early for no-surprises delivery.
• Close out projects with documentation and lessons learned.
