GHD's U.S. West Mining Team is seeking a motivated Project Manager to support planning, execution, and delivery of legacy mine reclamation and remediation projects.

This role suits a technically skilled professional with about five years of industry experience transitioning into project management, coordinating activities, client communications, schedules, and budgets to deliver safe, on-time results. Based in our West region offices, you will work under senior PMs, advance disciplined project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geological, Geotechnical, Environmental, or Mining Engineering
• 5+ years of technical experience in environmental remediation and site assessments
• Project management experience beyond day-to-day task management
• Understanding of project management principles and methodologies
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel to client meetings
• PE a plus

Responsibilities

• Initiate and plan projects with scope confirmation, WBS, schedule, risk planning, and onboarding
• Manage execution: track progress, issues, changes, dependencies; maintain project records
• Coordinate communications and reporting cadence with regulatory and client obligations
• Manage vendors and subcontractors per defined procedures; ensure verification pathways
• Support digital field data collection and standardized reporting workflows; contribute to dashboards
• Prepare deliverables for review by project director or SME
• Escalate risks early using indicators for no-surprises delivery
• Close out projects with documentation and lessons learned
