Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Reclamation & Closure to lead planning, execution and delivery of complex mining projects across the full lifecycle. You will manage multidisciplinary teams handling permitting, infrastructure, reclamation, closure and post-closure activities for mining clients.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage budgets, schedules and risk while ensuring quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, environmental, geological, geotechnical, mining) or science (geology, hydrogeology, geochemistry, environmental science) or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex mining projects across lifecycle.
• Develop project execution plans, scopes of work, schedules and budgets.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams including scientists, engineers, geologists and permitting specialists.
• Monitor performance and ensure delivery on scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
• Identify and manage project risks with mitigation strategies.
• Oversee subcontractors and specialized technical teams.
• Facilitate project meetings and maintain client communication.
• Ensure compliance with PM procedures and quality systems.
• Accountable for project profitability and financial performance.
