Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex mining projects across the full lifecycle in the US West market. The role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, client relationships, and project financials, with a focus on permitting, reclamation, closure, and post-closure duties.

The successful candidate will drive project profitability, coordinate engineering, environmental, and geotechnical disciplines, and support business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, environmental, geological, geotechnical, mining) or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years of consulting experience for mining clients in related areas.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience managing environmental, reclamation or closure projects; travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex mining projects from planning through completion across the lifecycle.
• Manage budgets, schedules, forecasts, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams incl. environmental scientists, engineers, geologists, and permitting specialists.
• Maintain client relationships and lead business development activities.
