Job summary

Merric Millwork and Seating is seeking a Project Executive to lead a portfolio of custom millwork projects from turnover through closeout. You will own budgets, schedules, quality and risk, while maintaining proactive communication with clients and internal teams.

The role demands executive oversight across project functions and close collaboration with accounting, procurement and field teams. You will manage change orders, billing cycles and collection risks, while ensuring contract compliance,

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex millwork or construction projects with full lifecycle ownership.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, schedules and change orders across teams.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Own project budgets, forecasts, profitability and cost-to-complete.
• Monitor labor, materials, purchasing, freight, rework and vendor costs.
• Manage change work from pricing to billing and approvals.
• Oversee billing, receivables and collection risk with Accounting.
• Lead executive relationships with customers, GC and architects.
• Oversee projects from turnover through closeout including drawings and submittals.
• Ensure takeoffs, BOMs and production docs are accurate before work advances.
• Maintain visibility into risk and assign mitigation actions with owners.
