Job summary

NAVFAC Pacific seeks a Senior Cost Estimator to develop detailed construction cost estimates for MILCON and related military facilities, including new construction, renovations, and major infrastructure assets. You will serve as a senior technical expert, advising project teams on cost policies and market trends, and performing QC/QA reviews to ensure regulatory compliance.

Mentoring and supporting source selections are also expected.

Qualifications

• 4-10 years construction cost estimating and scheduling experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.
• US Citizen aged 18 or older at time of hire.
• Males registered or exempt from Selective Service.
• Suitable for federal employment per background checks.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates for MILCON and related military facilities.
• Provide senior technical guidance on cost policies and market trends.
• Perform QC/QA reviews of estimates for compliance with DoD/Navy standards.
• Mentor less experienced estimators on estimating techniques.
• Support source selection boards and contract modifications.
