Job summary

NAVFAC Pacific is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to develop detailed construction cost estimates for military facilities, MILCON, renovations, and critical infrastructure projects.

You will serve as a senior technical advisor on cost policies and market trends, perform QC/QA reviews to ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor less experienced estimators. You will also support source selection and contract modification efforts.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years construction cost estimating experience.
• Ability to interpret DoD and Navy estimating requirements.
• Background in federal procurement and cost policy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed construction cost estimates for military facilities, MILCON, renovations, and infrastructure.
• Provide senior technical guidance on cost policies, market trends, and estimation standards.
• Perform QC/QA reviews of estimates for compliance with DoD/Navy regulations.
• Mentor junior estimators and support cost policy development.
• Support source selection, evaluate contractor proposals, and develop estimates for contract actions.
