Job summary

NAVFAC Pacific is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to develop detailed construction cost estimates for military facility projects, including new construction, renovations, and major infrastructure.

You will serve as a senior technical advisor on cost-related policies and market trends, perform QC/QA reviews for DoD/Navy standards, and mentor junior estimators while supporting source selection and contract modifications.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance
• U.S. Citizen aged 18 or older at time of hire
• Males must be registered or exempt from Selective Service

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed construction cost estimates for military facility projects (new construction, renovations, major infrastructure)
• Serve as a senior technical expert advising on cost policies, market trends, and estimating requirements
• Perform QC/QA reviews of estimates to ensure compliance with DoD, Navy, and other standards
• Mentor less experienced estimators and support development of cost policy and criteria
• Support project execution by participating in source selection, analyzing proposals, and developing estimates for contract modifications and change orders
