Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior within the Data Protection and Privacy team to lead Microsoft Purview workstreams and guide architecture across data protection, privacy, and security. You will translate requirements into practical designs and work with client teams to implement governance and AI/privacy controls.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across legal, risk, compliance, and technology, maturing security programs, and contributing to enterprise data governance while growing toward a lead

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3–6 years in cybersecurity, data protection, privacy, or related technology consulting.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview and multiple Microsoft security tools.
• Ability to translate requirements into architecture, design, and implementation plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft Purview workstreams across discovery, requirements, design, and deployment.
• Develop data classification, protection, retention, and data governance strategies.
• Support security and privacy assessments, architecture reviews, and roadmaps.
• Facilitate client workshops and interviews with diverse stakeholders.
• Create architecture diagrams, reference patterns, and implementation guidance.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute reusable assets for Data Protection and Privacy.
