Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior within the Data Protection and Privacy team to serve as a Microsoft Purview focused architect. You will translate business, legal, privacy and security requirements into practical architecture, governance, and implementation approaches in complex enterprise environments.

You will lead Purview workstreams, mentor colleagues, and collaborate across security, privacy, and technology teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of data protection, information governance, privacy, compliance, and security concepts.
• Practical experience designing or implementing Microsoft Purview capabilities in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to connect technical platform features to business, legal, privacy, regulatory, and operational outcomes.
• Ability to lead discovery sessions, workshops, design discussions, demonstrations, and working sessions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead defined Purview workstreams: discovery, requirements, design, config guidance, testing, deployment, and handover.
• Design and support Purview capabilities: information protection, labeling, DLP, data lifecycle, records management, insider risk, eDiscovery, Data Map/Catalog.
• Develop data classification, information protection, retention, DLP, insider risk, and data governance strategies.
• Support security and privacy assessments, architecture reviews, maturity assessments, roadmaps, and governance frameworks.
• Facilitate client workshops and stakeholder interviews across security, privacy, legal, compliance, and data governance.
