EY in the United States is seeking a Senior within the Data Protection and Privacy team to lead Microsoft Purview workstreams and design governance solutions for enterprise data. You will partner with clients across industries to translate business needs into practical architecture, governance, and implementation approaches.

Qualifications

Experience in enterprise-scale Purview design or implementation.
Ability to translate business needs into governance architecture.
Strong grasp of data protection, privacy and compliance concepts.
Experience leading discovery sessions and workshops.

Responsibilities

Lead Purview workstreams from discovery through deployment planning.
Design and support Purview capabilities across information protection and data governance.
Develop data classification and governance strategies aligned to legal and regulatory needs.
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews with security, privacy, legal, and business teams.
Translate requirements into architectures, backlogs, and measurable outcomes.
Create architecture diagrams, reference patterns, and implementation guidance.
Mentor junior team members and support proposal development.
