Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Data Protection and Privacy architect to lead Microsoft Purview solutions for enterprise clients in the United States. You will translate regulatory requirements into governance, architecture, and implementation plans, guiding workstreams and delivery teams across data protection, privacy, security, and AI governance.

You will collaborate with clients to design, deploy, and operationalize Purview and related Microsoft security services, shaping outcomes and reducing risk

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of data protection and privacy concepts.
• Experience designing Microsoft Purview in enterprise environments.
• Ability to connect technical features to regulatory and business outcomes.
• Experience leading discovery sessions and client discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft Purview workstreams including discovery, requirements gathering, design, configuration guidance, testing and deployment planning.
• Design and support Purview capabilities: Information Protection, data labeling, DLP, data governance and records management.
• Develop data governance and privacy strategies aligned to legal and security requirements.
• Support architecture reviews, roadmaps, and governance frameworks.
• Facilitate client workshops and stakeholder interviews across security, privacy, legal, and business teams.
• Translate requirements into solution architectures, backlogs, and measurable outcomes.
• Create architecture diagrams, reference patterns, and technical implementation guidance.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to proposal development.
