Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior in the Data Protection and Privacy team to lead Microsoft Purview architecture and privacy governance across complex environments. You will translate regulatory and business requirements into practical designs, guide implementation teams, and mentor juniors while collaborating with security, legal, and product stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience designing or implementing Microsoft Purview in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to translate business, legal, privacy, regulatory, and security requirements into architecture and governance.
• Experience leading workshops, client discussions, and guiding implementation teams.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute reusable assets and delivery methods.
• Stay current with Microsoft product developments and evolving data security and AI risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft Purview workstreams including discovery, design, and deployment planning.
• Design and support Purview capabilities (information protection, DLP, data catalog, and governance).
• Develop data classification, retention, and data governance strategies aligned to legal and business goals.
• Support security and privacy assessments, architecture reviews, and roadmaps.
• Facilitate client workshops and stakeholder interviews across security, privacy, and legal teams.
• Translate requirements into solution architectures, backlog items, and test scenarios.
• Create architecture diagrams, reference patterns, and implementation guidance.
• Coordinate integration with Defender, Intune, Sentinel, Entra, and Azure services.
• Contribute to AI governance initiatives and protection of sensitive data used by enterprise apps.
