C&W Services is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to support the site maintenance team and ensure optimal performance of material handling control systems in a clean, climate-controlled facility.

You will troubleshoot conveyors, sortation systems, HMIs, PLCs, and networking, lead project initiatives, and work closely with operations to minimize downtime while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in programming/commissioning HMIs, PLCs, and VFDs
• Experience with SCADA systems and KPIs
• Ability to read and modify electrical drawings
• Support for conveyors and sortation systems
• Knowledge of electrical distribution and motor control components
• High school or equivalent diploma required
• Positive problem-solving attitude

Responsabilités

• Promote a safe working environment by following procedures
• Maintain material handling control systems and electrical distribution
• Troubleshoot and modify software for PLC/PC controllers and Rockwell platforms
• Escalate downtime issues to vendors or network teams as needed
• Apply expertise to maximize building utilization of systems
• Monitor MHE metrics and resolve electrical problems with technicians
• Coordinate new technology installations with operations and vendors
• Communicate timelines and impacts to leadership and teams
