Job summary
Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Automation Engineer to support the site maintenance team in a modern, climate-controlled facility. You will troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers, HMI, and Rockwell software for material handling systems like conveyors and sortation equipment.
The role involves guiding maintenance activities, implementing control-system solutions, and improving equipment reliability in a fast-paced warehouse environment. 3+ years of experience preferred.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of programming/commissioning HMIs, PLCs, and VFDs.
- SCADA systems knowledge and KPIs.
- Interpreting and modifying mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Experience with conveyors and sortation systems.
- Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and motor control components.
Responsibilities
- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot material handling control systems (PLC/PC, controllers, drives).
- Support and modify software projects for material handling control systems.
- Escalate downtime situations to vendors or network teams as needed.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
