Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield's C&W Services seeks an Automation Engineer to support the site maintenance team, ensuring reliable operation of material handling control systems. You will troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers, Rockwell software, and networked equipment in a clean, climate-controlled facility.

We value safety, hands-on problem solving, and collaboration with operations and vendors to plan upgrades and maintain optimal equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Experience programming/commissioning HMIs, PLCs, and VFDs.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems and KPIs.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings.
• Experience supporting conveyors and sortation systems.
• Experience with relays, motor starters, VFDs and HMIs.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
• Troubleshoot and modify software for material handling systems.
• Escalate downtime issues to vendors or network teams as needed.
• Collaborate with operations to plan installation of new technologies.
