Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Mechanical Ground Support Equipment Engineer (Level 5) based in Redondo Beach, CA. You will join a dynamic team supporting space hardware testing from subassembly to full systems, coordinating with program management, systems engineering, and flight hardware design.

The role requires a STEM degree with extensive related engineering experience; active Top Secret/SCI clearance and CI Polygraph are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Science/Engineering plus 12 years of related experience or MS with 10 years of experience.
• Experience on multi-disciplinary IT&L or Manufacturing environments.
• Ability to lead teams in high-intensity, mission-critical phases.
• Excellent written/oral communication and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Design tests to verify system requirements and producibility.
• Coordinate across program functions to meet deadlines and quality goals.
• Develop detailed mechanical integration and test procedures for technicians.
• Lead cross-functional teams in space hardware testing and manufacturing.
