Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineer - Level 4 in Redondo Beach, CA, to lead satellite ground systems development within an Agile team. The role emphasizes MBSE, CAMEO, SysML, and space-vehicle C2 expertise, reporting to the Space Systems Sector.
Active SCI or Top Secret clearance is required, with willingness to obtain SCI if needed. You will collaborate across disciplines, drive product features, participate in sprint ceremonies, and deliver mission-focused software solutions for
Qualifications
- 8+ years of engineering experience with a STEM degree (or 6+ with a Master's, 4+ with a PhD)
- Active SCI clearance or Top Secret with SCI eligibility
- Experience with MBSE methods and tools (CAMEO) and SysML diagrams
- Experience in space-vehicle command and control, mission management, or related subsystems
- Experience in Agile SW development processes and artifacts (requirements, use cases, interfaces)
Responsibilities
- Drive development and execution of features for satellite ground systems
- Translate customer needs into digital artifacts and software implementations
- Lead verification planning and test requirements development
- Engage in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews within Agile teams
- Provide SMEs in Space-Vehicle C2 and related domains
- Demos and briefings for customers and leadership
- Ensure integration of capabilities with ground software solutions
