Job summary
Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach, CA seeks a Systems Engineer – Level 6 to join our Space Systems Sector. You will work with a scrum team of software and systems engineers to define product vision, manage backlogs, and deliver mission-focused software systems.
The role requires strong MBSE experience, CAMEO, SysML, and Agile practices, plus security clearances. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, integrate ground segment functions, and drive verification and test planning through
Qualifications
- Active SCI clearance at time of application and prior to start date.
- Active Top Secret clearance at time of application and prior to start date.
- 14+ years of engineering experience in STEM domains.
- Experience with MBSE, CAMEO, SysML and related modeling tools.
Responsibilities
- Drive development and execution of features for satellite ground systems with MBSE models.
- Participate in working groups; translate needs into digital artifacts for software implementation.
- Lead verification planning, test requirements, and key products; ensure alignment with product roadmap.
- Engage in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews; maintain alignment with product vision and mission goals.
- Provide SME in Space-Vehicle C2 systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
