Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Manager for our Philadelphia, PA location. This role leads merchandising and operational execution, including planograms, pricing, promotions, and in-store presentation to deliver a customer-ready store environment.

You will partner with store leadership to drive in-stock accuracy, efficiency in stock movement, and adherence to SOPs, while coaching team members and ensuring outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Lead truck execution and ensure timely unloading and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Oversee planogram (POG) execution and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Manage inventory control, stock movement, and in-stock optimization.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, store leadership, and customer service excellence.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skills.
• Ensure pricing integrity, promotional execution, and accurate backroom processes.
