Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Reading, PA is seeking a Merchandise Manager responsible for merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, pricing accuracy, and promotional execution to keep the store customer-ready.

You will lead workload planning, manage in-stock levels, stock movement, and visual standards, while coaching a team to deliver consistent service and compliance with SOPs and company programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards and accountability for store conditions.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting and flow of merchandise to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Oversee inventory control, in-stock levels, replenishment, and pricing integrity.
