Job summary

Suffolk Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead field coordination and documentation across the full project lifecycle in West Palm Beach. You will manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection resources, review bids, and ensure submittals and schedules stay on track.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in a mechanical/engineering field, with 5+ years in MEP and strong BIM/VDC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or fire protection.
• Strong computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of BIM/VDC coordination and building codes (ASHRAE/NEC/NFPA/LEED) is required.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical bid tabs and exhibits; manage subcontractor selection.
• Oversee day‑to‑day management of MEP subcontractors and submittals.
• Coordinate with A/E, BIM/VDC, and commissioning teams; ensure life‑safety and turnover tasks are met.
• Attend coordination and owner meetings; monitor schedule adherence and tradework progress.
• Obtain AHJ approvals and oversee testing, balancing, and commissioning practices.
