Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems at assigned properties in North Bethesda, MD. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, rounds, painting, cleaning and basic repairs to keep facilities safe and comfortable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of apprentice program or trade school preferred.
• 5+ years of related work experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers and related systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment and controls for comfort and safety.
• Conduct preventive maintenance per standards and manufacturer recommendations.
• Inspect equipment rooms and ensure clear access and safe operations.
• Respond to emergencies and report activities to supervisor.
