Job summary

LVI Associates in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Construction Manager to serve as the owner's representative for life sciences projects valued at $350M+. You will lead all MEP construction activities, coordinate designers and contractors, monitor budgets and schedules, and drive commissioning and turnover with a strong focus on safety and quality.

This hybrid role requires weekly site visits and close collaboration with owners, architects, engineers, and vendors

Qualifications

5+ years life sciences construction experience.
Experience delivering pharmaceutical, biotech, laboratory, GMP, cleanroom, or advanced manufacturing facilities.
Extensive MEP construction management on large, technically complex projects.
Involvement in projects valued at $350M+.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, fire protection, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

Lead all MEP construction activities on projects $350M+.
Represent owner's interests through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, closeout.
Coordinate contractors, consultants, vendors, and commissioning providers.
Review design documents for constructability and performance.
Oversee schedules, budgets, quality control, and risk mitigation.
Oversee commissioning, startup, testing, turnover.
Attend active project sites weekly and provide oversight.
