Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own multiple complex medium and large commercial construction projects from start to finish, including pre-construction design, estimating, scheduling, subcontractor and vendor management, quality control, punch lists and close-out across life sciences and manufacturing sectors.

As the primary face of the business to clients, you will balance customer needs with internal priorities, manage small crews, and coordinate with owners,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction project management experience
• Thorough knowledge of the construction industry
• Experience in a manufacturing and product-oriented business
• Strong problem solving and leadership in ambiguous situations
• Excellent written and verbal communication with field, management and clients
• Professional demeanor with strong customer service focus
• Self-motivated, disciplined, organized and detail-oriented
• Collaborative team player across senior management and contributors
• Advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Experience using Procore
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Willingness to work extended days during planned shutdowns and >40 hours
• Knowledge of instrumentation and controls
• Life sciences experience with instrument and control background

Responsibilities

• Managing construction projects from design through to completion
• Preparing scope of work documents for clients and the construction team
• Estimating project costs and material needs and field measurements
• Sourcing and ordering materials and scheduling deliveries
• Reviewing job costs weekly and tracking receipts and invoices
• Generating reports on progress, costs and scheduling
• Managing change orders with clients and internal staff
• Reviewing submittals, RFIs and document control with the Project Coordinator
• Coordinating with internal technical departments on execution
• Working with end-user decision makers including engineers and IT/OT staff
• Managing subcontractors across process mechanical and electrical disciplines
