Job summary

Community Partners in Action in Hartford, CT seeks a Senior Mentor for the REGIONS-Staff Secure Residential Treatment Program for Male Youth. This role oversees youth supervision, safety, and program operations, ensuring trauma-informed, culturally responsive care within a gender-specific setting.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, supervisory experience, and the ability to engage effectively with at-risk youth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with experience working with at-risk or court-involved adolescents.
• Supervisory experience in residential programs.
• Knowledge of juvenile justice system and gender-specific, trauma-informed care.
• Bi-lingual ability preferred (Spanish/English).
• CT driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work evenings/nights, weekends, holidays; overtime likely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security-related tasks such as pat downs of Youth and Visitors.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other duties as required.
