Job summary

NVIDIA leads groundbreaking work in AI, high-performance computing, and visualization. This role focuses on bringing up high-speed memory interfaces (GDDR, LPDDR, HBM) on complex GPU/CPU/SoC silicon, performing full validation and multi-vendor DRAM qualification, and leading root-cause closures on memory issues.

You will design AI-enabled workflows for margin analysis and collaborate with globally distributed teams to translate memory features into robust post-Si validation plans.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in the semiconductor industry with direct memory interface bring-up, characterization, and qualification on shipped silicon.
  • Deep protocol and physical-layer understanding of GDDR, LPDDR, or HBM with concrete examples of memory failure root-cause closure.
  • Hands-on lab fundamentals (oscilloscope, DMM, thermal chambers) and PCB/SI/PI awareness.
  • AI-driven workflows for memory characterization, margin analysis, or failure triage with measurable impact.

Responsibilities

  • Bring up high-speed memory interfaces (GDDR, LPDDR, HBM) on GPU/CPU/SoC silicon from power-on to productization.
  • Own functional validation, IO tuning, timing margin analysis, and multi-vendor DRAM qualification across memory controller, PHY, and DRAM.
  • Lead root-cause closure on memory failures across silicon, controller, PHY, package, and board integration.
  • Design and deploy AI-enabled workflows for margin data analysis and failure detection.
  • Collaborate with pre-Si and post-Si teams to translate memory features into validation plans.
