Job summary

P1FCU is seeking a Loan Officer to provide excellent member service, open accounts, and assist with loans and products. The role involves advising on account status, explaining fees and services, and resolving member questions with courtesy and efficiency.

Responsibilities include cross-selling products, explaining IRA certificates, CDs, and related services, while providing back-up support to tellers and handling transfers.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
• A high school degree or equivalent.
• Must have proven track record of selling and servicing loans.
• Must be familiar with various computer software programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent member service and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Assist members with new loans and products, open accounts, advise on status of accounts, and provide information on loans, products, fees and services.
• Cross-sell Credit Union services and products to members.
• Explain and expedite opening, closing, transfer, and rollover of IRA certificates.
• Assist members with opening CDs and educate on penalties and earnings.
