Job summary

Profed-Federal-Credit-Union is seeking a Member Service Associate to process member transactions and provide a range of member services with accuracy and courtesy. The role supports the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in deposit, lending, and security operations, and includes leadership and training responsibilities for staff.

The position requires a professional appearance, strong cash handling discipline, basic computer skills, and the ability to learn credit union systems.

Qualifications

• Friendly, well-organized person with professional image toward members, co-workers, and management staff.
• Ability to balance cash drawer consistently and keep proper control over cash transactions.
• Must have basic computer knowledge and the ability to learn credit union transaction processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and support to Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager as needed
• Conduct loan interviews and process loan applications and documentation
• Provide leadership, technical guidance, and training to Member Service Associate staff members
• Execute member transactions and provide general information in an accurate, efficient, and courteous manner
• Actively promote credit union products and services
• Maintain proper control of assigned cash, corresponding transactions, and credit union documents
• Maintain a neat and organized work area
• Attend all required staff meetings and training sessions
• Additional duties as assigned
