Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union in Sacramento, CA is hiring a Member Service Specialist III at the Land Park Branch. In this non-exempt, hourly role you will help members with everyday banking, process transactions, and promote Golden 1 products and services.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will support open and closing duties, maintain cash accuracy, and contribute to a team focused on service excellence. Training and advancement opportunities are emphasized.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of prior experience in a banker role or customer service at a financial institution.
• 1+ year as MSS II or teller at Golden 1 or another financial institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit financial transactions while maintaining a cash drawer.
• Provide Golden 1 services including cashier’s checks, money orders, savings bonds, wire transfers and debit card issuance.
• Assess members’ needs while processing transactions.
• Identify opportunities to promote Golden 1 products and document in EnAct system.
• Identify and report fraudulent activity to management and Financial Investigations department.
