Qualifications

• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential required.
• Two years of recent coding experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS coding systems.
• Proficient in MS Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Select and sequence ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS codes for designated patient types.
• Review facility records to ensure accurate APC/E&M coding.
• Abstract clinical data to support diagnoses and procedures.
• Maintain data integrity and assist client staff with coding guidance.
• Uphold HIPAA confidentiality and participate in meetings and trainings.
