Job summary

Savista is seeking a Pro Fee Coder in the United States to review clinical documents and assign ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for hospital, clinic, and physician pro fee settings. You may validate APC calculations and interact with client staff to ensure accurate coding.

The role requires up-to-date coding knowledge, two years of hands-on experience, and AHIMA/AAPC credentials. You will maintain confidentiality and participate in trainings and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Active professional coding credential (AHIMA or AAPC) required.
• Two years of hands-on coding experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS coding systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office for data entry and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Select and sequence ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for various patient types.
• Review facility records to ensure accurate APC assignments and E/M codes.
• Abstract clinical data to support diagnoses and procedures.
• Maintain data confidentiality and assist client staff as needed.
• Stay current with ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, regulations; pursue continuing education.
