Job summary

Savista, LLC is seeking a Pro Fee Coder to review clinical documentation and assign diagnostic and procedural codes for hospital and physician billing. You will validate APC calculations and interact with client staff, ensuring compliant coding practices and data integrity.

The role requires AHIMA or AAPC credentials and at least two years of hands-on coding experience with ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS. Proficiency in MS Office and strong problem-solving skills are essential, with HIPAA compliance

Qualifications

• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential (RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CCA or CPC/COC/CCS-P)
• Two years of recent coding experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy/physiology, pharmacology, pathophysiology, ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS
• Ability to code at 95% quality while meeting standards
• Proficient MS Office skills (data entry, sorting/filtering in Excel)

Responsibilities

• Select and sequence ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for designated patient types.
• Review facility records to ensure accurate APC/E&M coding.
• Abstract clinical data to support diagnoses and procedures.
• Maintain data integrity and assist client staff with coding practices.
