Job summary

Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking a Medical Coder who specializes in accurate E/M coding with ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS. You will review records, assign diagnoses and procedures, and ensure compliance with guidelines to support reimbursement.

The role requires at least two years of professional coding experience, proficiency with EHR systems, and relevant AHIMA or AAPC credentials. You will work on multiple coding projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Coding experience.
• Experience with Professional Fee Coding.
• Experience with EHR systems.
• Accepted AHIMA or AAPC certifications listed.

Responsibilities

• Assign principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures by reviewing documentation.
• Review records to assign codes and determine DRG/APC for reimbursement.
• Ensure correct code selection following coding guidelines and regulations.
• Abstract medical and demographic information into the system and correct data errors.
• Identify incomplete documentation and formulate physician queries.
• Meet coding quality and quantity expectations.
