Job summary

Texas Orthopedics, a Division of OrthoLonestar, is seeking a Service Center Administrator to oversee centralized appointment scheduling, registration and operator teams in our Austin clinic. You will manage physician schedules, supervise staff, ensure accurate insurance verification and maintain service level metrics while collaborating across departments to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferable.
• Five years in progressively responsible customer service roles.
• Two years supervisory experience in a call center preferred.
• Previous medical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of customer service concepts and business methods.

Responsibilities

• Manages scheduling of physician schedules and calls routing.
• Hires, trains, monitors and evaluates staff.
• Oversees insurance verification and auditing processes.
• Maintains staffing levels to handle call volume and metrics.
• Trains staff and coordinates cross-training to cover peak loads.
• Partners with managers to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Troubleshoots issues and manages department software.
