Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess routine and complex clinical skills within Medical Assistant scope.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to MA scope and site policies; maintain competency.
• Perform rooming tasks: vital signs, med reconciliation, med history, screenings.
• Assist providers with procedures and labs; handle specimen collection and labeling.
• Administer meds and vaccines following safety protocols; manage documentation.
• Handle referrals, scheduling, and insurance authorizations; patient messaging as needed.
• Maintain clean, stocked work environment and equipment readiness.
• Participate in training of teammates and potential committee work.
• Provide age-appropriate care, considering growth and development across life span.
