Job summary

BET Media Group is seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Executive to join our Midwest Sales team in Chicago. The role focuses on developing and growing advertising revenue across BET's portfolio of linear, streaming, digital, social, branded content, experiential, and cross‑platform solutions.

This individual will own a portfolio of key agency and client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and develop strategic revenue plans that drive sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 7+ years of media sales experience across TV, streaming, digital, or integrated advertising.
• Proven ability to grow revenue with agencies and clients.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of key agency and client relationships across the Midwest.
• Develop and execute annual account growth strategies across linear, digital, streaming, social, and experiential.
• Identify and secure new business while expanding existing partnerships via upselling and cross-selling.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for management and strategy.
• Create sales presentations and integrated marketing proposals aligned with client goals.
• Generate revenue meeting or exceeding assigned budgets and goals.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Research, Ad Operations, and Pricing teams to deliver solutions.
