Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in Johnston, RI to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions for difficult problems and manage projects while mentoring other technicians.

The role requires strong background in material handling equipment, preventative maintenance, and PLC/CMMS usage, with a focus on safety and teamwork in a dynamic facility.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience with material handling equipment (MHE) such as automated conveyors and controls.
4+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance.
3+ years of experience with CMMS.
2+ years of experience with PLC programs.
Experience leading or mentoring technicians.

Responsibilities

Promote safety and follow procedures to maintain a safe environment.
Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems and related controls.
Create, assign, and close out work orders with labor hours and parts data.
Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures; mentor junior technicians.
