Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance Team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment across the facility.

The role emphasizes safety, preventative maintenance, and accurate documentation, with opportunities to mentor newer technicians and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of repair experience with material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyors and controls.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• 1+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 1+ years knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, with ability to create and manage documents.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation; troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on MHE.
• Create, assign, and close out work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used; track inventory.
• Mentor junior technicians to support their growth.
• Maintain positive working relationships across all Operations facilities.
